This website doesn't ask you for anything about yourself, and you don't have to type anything in to read it or play with the Cube.
The only box on this site that asks for an email address is for grown-ups — teachers who want the lesson pack, or someone who wants to know when the book comes out.
- We don't know your name.
- We don't know where you live or what school you go to.
- We don't follow you around the internet.
Which is exactly what George should have done. 🙂
Who we are
Cybertak Books is a publishing imprint of Sigmatak Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Sigmatak Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Before you publish: add Sigmatak Ltd's company registration number, registered office address, and — if applicable — the ICO registration reference. Confirm with your DPO or adviser that Sigmatak's existing ICO registration covers this processing, since the imprint is not a separate legal entity.
What we collect, and why
We only collect what you type into one of the two forms on this site. There is nothing else — no account, no login, no purchase handled by us.

We do not collect information from children. The forms are intended for teachers, parents and other adults, and nothing on this site asks a child for personal details.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or social media tracking. Nobody is profiled, and nothing follows you to other sites.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. If you would rather avoid this, the fonts can be hosted on our own server instead.
Keep this accurate. If you later add analytics, an embedded video, a chat widget, a payment button or a mailing-list script, this section stops being true and you will need a cookie banner. Update the page at the same time.
Our lawful basis
- Legitimate interests — sending you the classroom materials you asked for, and replying to your enquiry. You asked; we answer.
- Consent — the single publication-day email, and any later notification about a new book. You can withdraw it at any time, and every email we send carries an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing. Your information may be handled by the service providers who run our email and any form or mailing service we use, acting on our instructions only.
We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Before you publish: name your actual processors here — your email provider, your form handler (for example Formspree), and your mailing list service if you use one. Note where each stores data, and add a line about international transfer safeguards if any of them are outside the UK.
How long we keep it
- Classroom pack and publication alerts — until you unsubscribe, or after three years without contact, whichever comes first.
- Email enquiries — up to two years after the conversation ends.
- School orders — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to someone else in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email hello@cybertak.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Children and this website
This site is about a book written for readers aged 7 to 9, so children are likely to visit it. We have designed it so that no personal data is collected from children at all: there is no account, no tracking, no profiling, and no part of the site invites a child to enter anything about themselves.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email hello@cybertak.co.uk and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting people already on our list will be notified by email.
