A whole online safety lesson. No preparation.
The teacher's guide is a free 8-page pack: a timed 45-minute plan, four discussion scenarios, a signable pledge that goes home in the book bag, and safeguarding guidance for the disclosure you hope you won't get.
If you'd rather just print and go, take the pupil worksheet on its own — one double-sided sheet, thirty photocopies, done.
The lesson needs one copy of the book — you read two chapters aloud, about ten minutes. One copy is enough for a whole class. The book publishes on 30 September 2026, so the pack is here to read through and plan with in the meantime.

Inside the 45 minutes
- 5 minWarm-up. Three questions, starting with: what's the difference between a secret and a surprise?
- 15 minRead aloud. Chapters 4–5. Children tick off each thing George gives away.
- 5 minThe reveal. Three harmless facts on the board. Then you draw a circle around all three.
- 15 minWhat would you do? Four scenarios, in pairs, with prompts for you.
- 5 minThe pledge. Signed, and taken home. This is the bit that reaches the parents.
